Participate in a Working Group
Many organizations, agencies, and individuals are attending meetings to coordinate efforts to restore and enhance Lake Worth Lagoon. There is a role for all interested individuals to play in the LWLI. If you have an interest in improving water quality, protecting and enhancing wildlife habitat, and increasing public knowledge of the lagoon please visit the Habitat, Water, or Public Outreach Working Group page for more information.

Review the Lake Worth Lagoon Management Plan
The management plan provides a look back at the progress made in implementing the plan's goals, summarizes the status of the Lagoon, and includes action plans for future projects.

Take Part in a Lagoon-Related Youth Event or Activity
Many organizations that participate in the Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative offer opportunities for youth to become engaged in learning about and helping to restore, enhance and protect Lake Worth Lagoon. This list, which is updated on an ongoing basis, includes a variety of those opportunities.

The Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program emphasize nine major principles to create and maintain beautiful landscapes and reduce stormwater runoff. By following these nine major landscaping principles you can save time, money and keep Florida clean and green for generations to come.

Adopt-A-Spot Along the Lagoon
Do you belong to a group that is looking for volunteer opportunities to enhance our environment? Are you, family members, and/or neighbors looking for an opportunity to give back to your community? If so, the Solid Waste Authority’s “Adopt-A-Spot” program may be just what you’re looking for!
